I buy and sell a lot of cameras on the internet mostly through eBay most of
the time with positive results. But every once and awhile things go astray. Most
sellers are not camera people nor are they photographers so a little
exaggeration is expected. I under stand when a seller will say "not sure
if it works" or "don't know how to operate". But when it comes to visual
inspection of a camera it should be easy to write a simple description of
the over all condition. In this case the Gentleman showed two small pictures of
the camera. With these pictures and his write up I was expecting a
"Old
Camera w/ case.. Seems to be in good shape"

This was his write up....and a Pastor ..... how could I go wrong.
Okay I am new at Ebay and I have a lot of cool stuff to get rid of.
You will go crazy with all of my antiques, books, and collectables. Please
do not worry about my low feedback, I am new, but I am very trustworthy! I
am a pastor at my church also!
Old Camera w/ case.. Seems to be in good shape. I
have never ventured to see if it works. Looks to be all there.

Below is what I got, I received the camera in a very
distressed state far from the "Seems to be in good shape". I
contacted the seller but he would only give a refund of the price after I paid
shipping both ways. He even wrote in his email to me that he described the
camera correctly. Where am I going with this .....(VENTING)
1. Only a good picture is worth a thousand words.
2. One man's "Seems to be in good shape" is
another man's rusty, moldy piece of junk.
3. Never trust a man who writes "but I am very
trustworthy"
4. If stated "I am a pastor at my church" think what
kind of church
