THIS IS THE ONE YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR
This Camera is a tribute to fine German Craftsmanship
you can just feel the Quality when you hold it. From the smoothness of the
winding mechanism to the Click of the strong Compur Shutter to the crisp
sharp and contrasty images from the TESSAR 1:2.8 this is hard to beat. I
have been using a similar (not as nice) camera for the last few months
(check Web) and I'm amazed at the quality of my images this camera
produces. This camera puts the quality in a small package that will fit in
your pocket. The Rangefinder is clear and rotating mechanism has been taken
apart cleaned and lubed. All lens have been removed from the camera cleaned
reinstalled and the focus set. Film transport and winding mechanism work
flawlessly. You will be proud to show this beauty off. See the pictures of
the actual camera. A little History…In 1937 the Super Ikonta B 530/16 was
replaced by the 532/16. The big improvement was a combined rangefinder and
viewfinder. It was only available with the 80/2.8 Tessar. The shutter was
Compur Rapid until 1951, when the shutter was changed to Synchro-Compur. In
1948 the black enameled lens standard was replaced with chrome. The camera
was discontinued in 1956.
